The Origami print is inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding, which creates representations of elements or objects using geometric folds in a single sheet of paper, without cutting or gluing it. Ori, meaning "to fold," and kami, meaning "paper": according to Japanese culture, anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes (tsuru, meaning "crane") will have a wish granted. A belief popularized by the story of #SadakoSasaki, a victim of the #atombomb during the war in Hiroshima, Japan. He was just a 12-year-old boy who left behind a legacy of hope; that is what this print represents: hope in difficult times.
